ARABIAN TRAIL AND RANCH HORSE ASSOCIATION
MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of the Arabian Trail and Ranch Horse Association (ATARHA), is to operate exclusively in the education of public activities of the Arabian and Half Arabian Horse through, charitable and educational events within the alignment of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Our Mission of the Organization:1. Promote and encourage the breeding, training, and exhibition of the Arabian and Half-Arabian horse in the trail and ranch disciplines.2. Advancing public education and awareness of these disciplines through clinics, workshops, and online educational platforms.3. Providing financial support and opportunities, including but not limited to sponsorships and recognition awards.4. Supporting competition and showcasing of horses by sponsoring horse division classes that highlight the skill, versatility, and training of the Arabian and Half Arabian bred trail and ranch horses.5. Honoring the legacy of individuals and horses who have contributed significantly to the discipline through programs such as the “Gone but Never Forgotten” recognition at the US National Championship Show.6. Fostering community engagement through communication platforms such as the “In The Ring With the Arabian Trail and Ranch Horse” Facebook group, to facilitate the exchange of information, mentorship, and promotion of best practices with the discipline.
The Arabian Trail and Ranch Horse Association is a recognized club of the Arabian Horse Association. All activities and programs will be carried out in a manner consistent with the charitable and educational purposes described herein and willnot include activities for profit and for the benefit of private interest.
